BioWell, heck, since everyone else is doing dress diaries, why not me? This is a diary for a dress I am making for a contest on the Margospatterns e-list, which is users of Margo Anderson's Elizabethan patterns. I have chosen to try and reproduce Elizabeth I's Pelican dress. I am making it of black cotton velvet and using Darice pearls--this gown is going to take literally thousands, and I can't afford even glass based in that amount!
